Glamour Beauty & Spa has been looking after Athlone from 8–10 Barrack Street since 2018. We are a nail studio and an aesthetic clinic, and we treat both women and men.
Professionally, we take care of your image — treatments for face and body, care for hands and feet, beautiful lashes and brows whether that means extensions or a natural lift. It is the description the salon has always used and it still fits.
What has changed over the years is the depth of what we can offer. Computer skin analysis replaced guesswork. Deep phyto peeling, Nucleofill, Profhilo and HIFU brought treatments to Barrack Street that used to mean a drive to Dublin or Galway. The nail desk moved onto professional high-pigment gels and never looked back.
What has not changed is the size of the place. We are a small salon, most of our clients arrive by recommendation, and we know the majority of them by name. That is not a marketing line — it is why the standard holds.
We diagnose before we treat
Skin goes on the NATI analyser. Lashes get mapped. Injectables get a face-to-face consultation with a medical history. It adds time at the start and saves disappointment later.

Before you book
Do I need to book in advance?
For nails, lashes and facials we would always recommend it — our regular slots fill up a week or two out. If you are stuck, call us: we keep gaps for short-notice appointments and we will fit you in where we can.
Where exactly are you?
8–10 Barrack Street, right in the centre of Athlone, Co. Westmeath (Eircode N37 Y2N8). There is public parking within a couple of minutes' walk.
Do you treat men?
Yes. Waxing, facials, skin analysis and body treatments are all booked by male clients regularly.
Do I need a consultation before injectables?
Always. Fillers, Profhilo, Nucleofill and mesotherapy are only booked after a face-to-face consultation covering your medical history and what is realistically achievable.
Which nail products do you use?
Professional high-pigment gel systems, chosen for colour payoff and durability. Pigment that strong covers in fewer and thinner coats, which makes for a lighter, more flexible nail that lasts longer. Ask your therapist if you would like the specifics.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Let us know as far ahead as you can and we will move you without any fuss. Late cancellations are hard to fill, so a call the day before makes a real difference to a small salon.

Yes, for any value or against a specific treatment. Call in or ring us and we will sort one out.
